John Caputo, a capital investment consultant, is President of Saturn Capital Corporation. As past president of Maximizer Software to May 2009, Caputo led corporate strategy and oversaw operations across the company's three geographic regions of the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia Pacific.
Caputo joined Maximizer Software as Chief Financial Officer in 2000 and was promoted to co-President in 2002. Under his leadership as co-president, the company built significant market momentum including more than 25 prestigious industry awards and the highly successful launches of versions 8 and 9 of Maximizer Software's products. In 2006, Caputo took on full leadership of Maximizer Software with his promotion to sole company President. Prior to joining Maximizer Software, Caputo served as Chief Financial Officer for a publicly traded IT services and solutions company along with senior roles at KPMG. Caputo is a Chartered Accountant and Dean's Medalist from Simon Fraser University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration. In 2005, he was named to Business in Vancouver Magazine's "40 under 40", an annual list of B.C.'s 40 most successful entrepreneurs under the age of 40 and in 2006 was appointed to the Board of Directors of the British Columbia Technology Industry Association (BCTIA).
